When a layman listens to the word buffalo chicken, the first thought that might occur shall be a mixture of beef and chicken. As appetizing as it sounds, sadly the animal buffalo has nothing to do with the Buffalo Chicken.
Rather it is named Buffalo Chicken because the recipe was conceived in Buffalo, New York City. The owner of a local bar, Teresa Bellissimo received a package full of chicken wings. Teresa experimented with ingredients and created something desirable out of it.
Because a few years ago, chicken were not in a demand as they are today. She played with the ingredients, marinated chicken wings in a dressing she prepared herself, and mixed a few sauces together. Traditional Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe
Traditionally, to prepare Buffalo Chicken, boneless chicken pieces are marinated in black pepper powder, salt, and olive oil. These chicken pieces are then stir-fried, shredded and mixed up in buffalo sauce, and spread across the pizza dough.

Traditional Buffalo Sauce Recipe
Traditionally, Buffalo Sauce is prepared by mixing a few sauces. But it is not how the recipe has been followed all these years. Then what is buffalo sauce made of? To make an irresistible Buffalo Sauce, we need Hot Sauce, Butter, White Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, Cayenne, and Garlic Powder, are used.
In a pan, pour ⅔ cup of your favorite hot sauce. Warm it up a little. As it starts to warm up, add ½ unsalted butter, and keep whisking continuously. Let the butter do its magic. Then add 1 ½ tablespoon of white vinegar, ¼ teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce, ¼ teaspoon of Cayenne and ⅛ teaspoon of Garlic Powder, and salt to taste. Mix all the ingredients together and when the sauce reaches your desired consistency, turn off the flame. Your Buffalo Sauce is ready.
Easy Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe with Dingolay Hot Sauce
Take half kg boneless chicken pieces. With the help of a fork pierce the chicken pieces, framing tiny pores for the marinade to penetrate. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of salt and black pepper powder on it, then pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil. You can add or subtract the amount of these ingredients according to your liking or the quantity of the chicken. (Remember, this chicken has to go in the Buffalo Sauce yet.)
Allow the chicken to marinate in these ingredients for about 30 minutes.
Then, after the said time, pour around two cups of Original Dingolay Gourmet Hot Sauce into a cooking pot, and put the marinated chicken in it. Then let it cook for some time. When the chicken is done, pan-sear the chicken for about two minutes.
Turn off the flame and let the chicken cool down to room temperature. Take some of the chicken pieces out of the mixture and save it for later utilization. Shred the remaining half in the sauce. The Buffalo Chicken Sauce is ready.
Spread the baking sheet in the pizza pan and brush it with olive oil or a non-stick spray. Spread the pizza dough (see recipe below) on the baking sheet, and spread the Original Dingolay Gourmet Hot Sauce as pizza sauce on it. Then add the chicken blended in Dingolay Hot Sauce (the prepared Buffalo Chicken) and after that add the reserved chicken cubes.
This extra chicken adds extra crunch and makes it tastier. Top it with onions, bell peppers, olives and mushrooms, and a generous amount of grated cheese. To add flavor and aroma, sprinkle some dried Oregano and Thyme.
Prepare this pizza at 100 degrees in a pre-heated oven for around twenty minutes or until the crust of the pizza turns into a relishing brown color and cheddar melts.

Pizza Dough Recipe

In a big bowl, add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 ¼ teaspoons of instant yeast, 1 ½ tablespoons sugar, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix the ingredients well, then add olive oil and warm water, knead it into a round ball and let the dough sit in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
As the dough has risen, deflate it with your hand and shift it on a rolling board, where you can knead it with a free hand.
Softly dust your hands with flour and brush the rolling board with some olive oil. Knead it for about 15 minutes, until the dough is firm, or has reached the desired consistency.
With the help of your hands or a rolling pin roll the dough into 12 inches or according to the size of your pizza pan.
Spread the baking sheet in the pizza pan, brush it with olive oil and roll out the pizza dough in it. Spread the Buffalo Sauce and Buffalo Chicken on it, as mentioned above, and bake a scrumptious pizza.
