How Long Does It Take To Get My Results?

Getting your x-rays done at XRANM is super easy, and we strive to give your results back as quickly as possible. You can pick up your x-rays at any of our three locations within 48 hours of having them taken. Most of our patients leave with their film developed within that time frame, but if there are issues with your x-rays, they will be communicated clearly, so there aren’t any surprises. If we’re busy or have a lot going on at work, it may take a little longer than usual for us to go through everything and give you a call. When Should I Request An X-Ray?

If you experience severe pain and believe it may be due to a broken bone, your doctor will likely first order an x-ray. A lot of times, for simple ailments such as muscle strains or back pains, x-rays are not necessary at all. If there is any chance that you might have sustained a bone fracture (even if it doesn’t hurt), ask your doctor whether or not an x-ray would be appropriate. More often than not he/she will say yes because it can really provide crucial information about what exactly is going on with your body. If you aren’t sure about something and don’t want to take chances then opt for the x-ray examination in Albuquerque by our Radiology company; XRANM Inc. Can I schedule an x ray in Albuquerque?

What Should I Wear To An X-Ray Appointment?

The dress code at imaging centers is usually pretty casual. We don’t want anyone feeling self-conscious during their appointment, so make sure you wear comfortable clothes that don’t restrict movement. Most patients go for a T-shirt and jeans or scrubs, but feel free to bring whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Just keep in mind that loose clothing can restrict some tests and cause a bit of discomfort for your technician (although we’ll let them know if anything needs to be adjusted!). Our goal is for everyone who comes through our doors to have a pleasant experience, so please remember no hats, hoodies, shorts, or flip-flops are allowed.

Does Radiology Include X-Rays?

Radiology is a branch of medicine that focuses on treating disease through imaging of various parts of your body. Radiologists use various imaging tools, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans. Depending on your ailment or injury, you may be referred to a radiologist for an x-ray examination (also known as radiography). Not sure what radiology is? Read on for more information about x-rays, their purpose, and how they work. And if you’re looking for a convenient walk-in x-ray Albuquerque that won’t break your budget—XRANM is here to help!

How Much Does CT scan Cost?

The cost of a CT scan depends on many factors, including what area is being examined and how much contrast dye needs to be used. Some facilities charge less than $1,000 while others charge more than $1,000. The average cost of a CT scan is around $300-$500. If your insurance doesn’t cover these costs, then you will most likely pay out of pocket. Don’t worry–you’re still going to be getting great service at these prices! For example, we offer discounted fees for self-pay patients who walk in without appointments.
