I am my story… The good ugly, the bad and awful!

The place I (Maurice Roussety) was born was Mauritius. I was about three years of age and wearing leg braces due to polio when my father passed away, after a grueling three years in a escort ankara wheel chair crippled by a serious stroke. My mother was a beautiful young woman was faced with the daunting task of raising my three older siblings and myself. Although living in Mauritius was not easy for me, it was also many good times.

I remember vivid and fond memory of playing with soccer alongside my pals on the dirt road that was just close to our home, being named school captain three times in consecutive years.

The unending and unending love and devotion of my mother and two sisters. In school I was always among one of the best five classes. Academic achievement was an extremely crucial goal in my home country because it was considered an opportunity to live an easier life for both oneself and the family. I would always study hard and was able to achieve.

Always felt happy seeing the smiles on the faces of my family members, not necessarily. The congratulation or the diploma that the school’s headmaster handed me. I had to put in the effort to achieve success and outdo myself just as my mom did for her children. In the midst of all that was going on around me, I subconsciously I assumed the role as my father.

I had now decided to carry out all the tasks I would have done if his life been different.I was always creative, entrepreneurial creating, building or fixing anything. Since when I was nine, I started making sling shot made from scraps of elastic bands.

That my mother had made from her sewing machine, and made small sailing boats from wood. And dust pans that had long handles made from old oil cans, and offered them to local shopkeepers and my school buddies for a few dollars. That would have gone a long way to school textbooks. But never enough to purchase that dream soccer boot which was constantly on my wish wish list. My childhood was also filled with hospitals visits to me Maurice Roussety. I soon became known in an area hospital.

At the age of 13, my mother moved to Australia. I was a student at Chandler High school, a tiny public school located situated in Noble Park. I spoke very little English and had a powerful French accent I was a soccer player (rather as Aussie rules) with a dark complexion and dressed in a different way. Was larger than the average 13-year-old.

What… Was that the reaction I received from my classmates and teachers? In the early days the era of immigrants, they were rare and infrequent at the very the very least, in Chandler High. I was never the same in the school, and never truly accepted. At times, I thought of ending the whole thing. read more about Maurice Roussety

I later built a large consulting business. I also I also studied Economics and Business, and graduated my Masters degrees, and even an Ph.D. However, my accomplishments have taught me nothing about life and its vagaries. The most important lessons I learned came later in life , when my life collapsed, fell into the dark pit of despair and struck rock bottom, possibly just a few meters below.

I lost everything – my family along with my reputation, my money and my determination to live. It was a good thing that I did my best to dig myself out of the dark hole, and am now digging for into the business of life. I would like the chance to share more with you.
