Clean eyelash extensions last longer – eyelashes need to be cleaned as part of your home treatment regimen!
A few customers believe that getting their volume lashes far from the water will keep them longer. However, this is extremely false and has an incredible reverse effect! Your eyelash expansions will tumble off recklessly when you try not to purify them. Indeed, stay away from water consistently for the first 24 hours or as directed by your eyelash stylist. But this doesn’t mean you can’t get them wet for an eternity!
It is essential that you exfoliate your eyelash extension. If you don’t cleanse them properly or don’t cleanse them at all, problems will arise that will prevent your lashes from staying as long as they should. Not cleansing consistently or effectively also leads to possible diseases, distortions, lack of lash welfare/development, and lash pests.
Eyelash Extension
Dead skin cells, soil, cosmetics and oil will quickly develop in your lash line! This development will consume the adhesion of your eyelash extension, causing it to separate in the long run. The Eyelash extension stick likes to be kept clean in hand it is a solid attached to your normal eyelash.
Messy eyelashes cause your eyelash paste to become brittle causing expansions to tumble off your normal eyelash as opposed to endure the entire existence of the common eyelash cycle and drop off when the characteristic eyelash is shed.
Dirty lashes don’t look messy when you look in the mirror, but under the light of your eyelash specialist with enhancing glasses, the development is clearly visible.
Just as you wouldn’t go to the dentist with unbrushed teeth, consistently go to your lash treatment with freshly washed lashes. Try not to wear mascara to your appointment, as eliminating it is tiring and eats into your lash application time, which means fewer lash enhancements from your lash specialist.
Mascara build-up can also lead to helpless grip, meaning your mega volume lashes won’t last as long. I’m not a fan of wearing mascara on extensions on account of the abrasion it requires to eliminate damage and cause eyelash mishap. If you do want to use mascara, it MUST be one that is suitable for eyelash enhancement and can be purchased from me (this item is not available in my online shop, so please contact me to purchase it).
The benefits of regular eyelash extension cleaning
Clients who scrub their lashes carefully between appointments get SO MUCH more lashes leftover than clients who do not scrub at all (or who cleanse incorrectly). A top-off should not be done when you have almost no lashes left – a top-off is done when you just start to see gaps. This ensures that your lashes always look full and rich.
Most customers with normal lash development who take care of their all-around lashes can go 3 weeks between top-off arrangements and come back with half lashes left. In case you are not getting these results, it’s an ideal opportunity to check your home considering routine to see if we can figure out what’s happening…
EYELASH EXTENSION CLEANING DO’S:
NOTE: Always be ready to clean 24 hours after your appointment!
1. Cleanse lashes at least 2-3 times a week, or consistently in case you are a slender or regular eye cosmetics wearer.
2. 2. Use a special lash tech near me lathering chemical to ensure that you get a hostile bacterial arrangement on your lashes to maintain the well-being of your eyes and lashes. Using an eyelash exfoliating chemical will keep away from possible glycols, oils, and another no-no’s for eyelash enhancements that are often found in standard facial cleansers.
3. 3. Do not use oil-based products around or on your eye area. These include chemicals, lotions, cleansing oils, fragrance-based treatment oils, shower toners, coconut/rosemary oils, eye creams, and surprisingly. If you use chemicals that aren’t good for lashes, wipe the cleanser off your face instead of rinsing, as the leftover product will get into your lashes.
EYELASH EXTENSION CLEANING DON’TS:
1. Do not use cosmetic wipes if you are wearing lash extension. They’re full of terrible oils, glycols and emollients that lash enhancers don’t want, causing your lashes to fall off in a rash. Rash! They don’t last long at all if you use cosmetic wipes. Cosmetic wipes are not a good method of exfoliating your face because they leave cosmetics on your skin.
2. Try not to use cleansing waters such as micellar. These products are unreliable for exfoliation.
3. Try not to use facial tissues, wipes, cosmetic pads, cotton swabs, or other things on or near your eyelash extensions. These will pull on your lashes, damaging them and causing premature lash disfigurement.
4. Try not to rub your eyes vigorously while pursuing – clean your lash extensions with light pressure from your fingertips. I recommend using a cleaning brush like the one I offer my clients. Thorough scrubbing will lead to premature eyelash mishap, as will be messed up/damaged characteristic eyelashes that are short, broken, and delicate and do not have the ability to hold augmentations firmly. It doesn’t take much to damage your lashes, so always be careful!
