  • Sleeping in another bed.

Yes, maybe we can let this pass on your first night of dealing with a bed bug infestation. But remember, the more you relocate to another room because of this, the more you run the risk of dispersing the bed bugs in non-infested areas in your house. And yes, just because they’re bed bugs doesn’t mean your coach is an exception.

This is probably one of the common myths about bed bugs. If you think these little creatures are less active with the lights on, then you’re wrong! 

Regardless of your room’s lighting conditions or the time of the day, they can adjust their feeding time accordingly.

  • Moving your furniture.

Did you know that bed bugs don’t stay in the bed? Bed bugs can hide in cracks in furniture and they can always spread anytime, anywhere. 

Upholstered furniture can make things worse as bed bugs can penetrate further into the padding, making it difficult to detect them.

However, when moving bug-infested furniture, make sure they’re neatly wrapped up to prevent the bed bugs from escaping. To make things easier, bed bug exterminators can take care of this problem.
