Yes, BIG BAGS ARE BACK! Hermes just had their S/S 2024 collection in Paris debut with large bags in hand! We saw the Hermes Birkin 35 making its way back onto the runway for the women’s collection plus an oversized HAC Birkin, which is usually shown in the Mens Collections, and then we saw the Hermes Shoulder Birkin in black swift leather with denim! Yes, we have seen this combination before however bringing back the Shoulder Birkin, in which Jean Paul Gaultier designed for the Hermes Brings Back the Shoulder Birkin Bag for 2024.
These Shoulder Birkins are rare now and. have been steady on the resale market. We have seen A LOT of the JPG’s designs coming back into existence in recent collections such as the Hermes Shadow Kelly Clutch plus the Shadow Birkin. We loved that Hermes use to keep limited editions limited and now they are all being reproduced. I wish Hermes did not reproduce the limited editions or atleast change them a bit so they can be differentiated easier from the originals – change the color options, add a pocket, a special lock – something to signify the difference.

The price of the Hermes Shoulder Birkin will be increasing and will be over $11,500 USD plus tax and the JPG Shoulder Birkin will be available in two sizes, which will be smaller than the original version set at 42cm. The new JPG Birkin will be at 38cm and possibly a 28cm version, we are waiting to find out!
